Ethernet programming

Hi Can any one please tell me why after downloading a new program update to the cmore via the ethernet connection on my local network I seem to loose the abillity to connect to the web server of the HMI. If I take of the power off and reset the cmore unit it works fine. Can anyone help? Cheers:confused:

    Does it fail just after downloading to it, or do you continue having problems?

    What SW/FW version are you using?

    What you describe should not be happening. It would be helpful for you to call Technical Support.

    If the HMI isn't on the same subnet as the programming computer, it may take a while for your router to recognize it once it's been reprogrammed.

    I 've had the same thing happen to me several times and it leaves me scratching my head.

    I can download to the C-more screen a few times and then one time it will not reconnect. I 've tried closing the C-more console and reopening. Cycling the power on the touchscreen is the only way to get it to start working again. Sometimes it happens after one download and sometimes it happens after a lot more downloads. I am on the same ethernet switch as the touchscreen and at no time does the IP address change (since I 've already set the IP address to a static address.)

    Still not working??

    Only just looked at the forum after posting my message, been working away from the office. Im am using version 2.60 software and firmware. I still have the problem and dont think its down to the subnet. Looks like a few of us have the same problem may be there is a firmware problem with the HMI?.

    Thanks for your input and I will keep you posted if I get to the bottom of the problem.:rolleyes:
