C-more Project Loader?

Is there a loader application that can be given to clients that will allow them to reload a .epp file to the panel without buying the programming software? I realize the project can be stored on CF-1 but if the panel gets destroyed the flash probably will also. What does the recovery tool do? Every time I try it I get a message saying my panel does not support it. Any and all comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

You can save the file off to a USB pen drive and load it from it. From the Cmore software pick File->Project transfer->External memory device and select the pen drive. Then follow the details in the hardware manual in chapter 5-44 to load it to the panel.

The recovery tool is supported by later generation panels and to help in the recovery of a panel that failed a firmware update. Earlier panels would be useless if the panel lost power or communications at a critical point in the update. The newer panels can be recovered with the recovery tool, the earlier panels would have to be replaced.
There is no loader for C-more.
The best way to give a customer the project to load without the software is to put the project on a USB pen drive. This is different than just saving the project to the pen drive. There are two ways to put it on the pen drive so that it can be read by the panel:
1) Use the C-more Software and when you transfer the project, select Transfer to external Memory Device. Select any device such as a pen drive, hard drive or network drive. The file can be sent to the customer via email, FTP or sending the pen drive.
2) Put a pen drive in a panel that is running the project and Backup the project in the panel to the pen drive. the backup files can be copied and sent via email, FTP or send the pen drive itself.
To get the project in the panel:
Once the customer has the files, they can copy them to a pen drive, put the pen drive in a panel and Restore the project from the pen drive.
Any of this may be done with a CompactFlash instead of a pen drive. But most computers have USB while most do not have CF Card readers.
Does this answer your question?
