When a toggle type pushbutton (vs momentary) is in the on state when power to the c-more is turned off, what state will the button be in when the unit is powered up again?

    IntelliMation,

IF the toggle is mapped to a C-more internal bit, AND the bit is set for retentive - THEN, when power returns, the switch will go to the state (On OR Off) it was in when power was lost.

IF the toggle is mapped to a C-more internal bit, AND the bit is NOT set for retentive - THEN, when power returns, the switch will go to OFF.

IF the toggle is mapped to a PLC bit, AND the bit is set for retentive in the PLC - THEN, when power returns, the switch will go to the state (On OR Off) it was in when power was lost.

IF the toggle is mapped to a PLC bit, AND the bit is NOT set for retentive - THEN, when power returns, the switch will go to OFF.

Remember, If the toggle is mapped to a PLC bit, it "follows " the PLC bit. Other logic in the PLC could reset the bit, and then the toggle will also reset.

    Hope this helps.
