Password maintenance routine

I'm struggling with a way to enable users to change there passwords (C-more) at their leisure. Basically, open a PASSWORD MAINTENANCE screen, select the user, enter the old password, type in a new password, verify the password and return immediately to the previous screen. Supervisors must be able to reset any password. Any suggestions? Examples?

Just a quick thought, I'm by no means experienced with this panel yet, but have you tried a numerical entry button that writes to a memory location in the PLC. Compare that memory location to one stored in the PLC and if they match have the PLC output a screen number that has another numerical entry button which writes over the memory location you just compared against. That and a back/save button on that screen should do what you 're looking to do. Hopefully that helps some.

That's pretty well what the password option does, if you assign a PLC tag instead of an internally-stored number. I'll play with it a bit more.

    Thanks.
