It all depends on how much data you are putting through the connection. 6 could be ok, but then it also depends on how many registers you will be requesting that are not contiguous.

There isn't a hard and fast rule for the number of connections you can have because of all of the variables.

If you are doing any communications out of the Ethernet port(s) on the PLC(s) to devices other than Cmore than that will make a difference as well. So will how busy the network is. There are just too many variables to say, "X is the number that you can connect. "

All of that being said, we have tested more than 6 connections with no issues but we can't guarantee that will be the case for you.

Thanks for the fast reply. I think we'll be good then. Only about 50 or so tags per C-More and maybe a couple product counts for each.
