Hi All! I have never used the Recipe Object in the C-more. I have read the manual and the Help screens, but they seem to assume a knowledge I don't have. I want to have a text display with UP- and DOWN-arrow buttons to one side. The operator scrolls through the available recipes and presses a "Select " push button when the name of the desired recipe is in the text window. Eventually, A barcode would select the recipe automatically. I would have a second password-protected screen for recipe creation and editing. Does someone have an example screen of a Recipe object implementation? I will keep up my own experiments in the mean time. Perhaps the "Ah-HA " moment will occur sooner rather than later!

    Recipies

    GlennLee,

We have several C-More panels and all have recipies we use to load settings when the operator changes products on extrusion lines.

    It works really well.

Take a look at the Recipe Database and the Recipe Call Object. I think it will accomplish what you are looking for.
