Hey, quick question for you all. Do all (or any) of the Cmore touchscreens keep their trending data after they have lost power? I know they lose this data every time you update the HMI program (really annoying for me and the customer if you need to do little changes), but I can't remember if they lose data if you drop the power. I'd test this out, but I don't have any of em laying around right now. :o Thanks! -Aaron

Hmmm... Also, we 're using these touch panels without compact flash memory in them.
After reading some literature on the touch screens, it looks like there is only 2KB available in the SRAM buffer. I wouldn't think that would store much, if any, data. Maybe that's why it would appear that the data is being erased after a power-cycle. Hmm...
It seems to log quite a bit of data (at least a weeks worth) while the power remains on, however. Where is this data being stored then?

Well, i got my hands on a EA7-S6M-R, and it seems that every time i power down the unit, it loses all trending data and starts over. Isn't there some SRAM in here that's backed up by a battery? Do you have to do something special to make it store your trending data into the SRAM?

Thanks, got it figured out. Looks like it'll only log data if you have a USB or CF card installed, even though there is 256k of SRAM memory available.
