I am looking to use the C-more panel with a Micrologix1200, however I need to show 32 bit data (L9:0 data files) There is no option to select this file type in the C-more program when configuring he tags. Does anyone one know how or have a workaround? Cheers Wayne

You could always move the data to an N: register and display it.

Thanks Thomas, but the N: registers are only 16 bit, so cannot display a large enough number for this application.

I think Thomas is refering to using a "Signed Int 32 " data type within the N data file. C-more will read two 16-bit values and display it as a single 32-bit value. So you'd have to do some work inside the PLC, but it's doable.

Just an update for anyone else who may read this post - I have spoken to Automation Direct today and the next revision of the software will include provision for the L data files.
Cheers

are they also working on the st file for allen bradleys plc.
I use custom messages in (ascii) that control the marquees. I would like to use the st9:0 to display the text on the touchscreen for remote viewing

Yes, my understanding is that the ST file will also be resolved next month. Credit where it's due, they do appear to respond very quickly to any issues if this is anything to go by. I have just received my first panel, so I hope the experience continues to be as positive as it has been so far
Cheers
