apparently no one else is using the automated bitmap feature. Where is the Bar graph that is used in the graph section? I want to use the bar graph in the automated bitmap, using the resize feature, but I can not find the bitmap or learn how to build one. Any plans on teaching how to use the automated bitmaps? Nice features but how do you use them? If no one is using these features, take them out.

I am guessing that you are referring to the "Animated Bitmap " object. If you have not done so already, I would suggest downloading a sample project from the C-more web site at http://c-more.automationdirect.com/software/sample_projects.html

This animated project will give an example of each type of animation that is possible.

I am not sure what Bar graph you are referring to in your second question. The "Bar Meter " is not a bitmap but a software generated object. If you need a bitmap of a bar graph for some reason, I would suggest drawing one in a graphics program or simply doing a screen capture on your PC of the existing Bar Meter and using the “Microsoft Paint software to save it as a bitmap.

Don't forget that there are thousands of symbols available in the "Symbol factory ". Simply use the C-more software and create Static Bitmap Object, then select the Symbol Button to access this large library.

I hope this helps give some insight into what you are trying to do. If not, please calls our Tech support line and perhaps they can better understand your questions and help you find a solution.

Thanks I will go to the site. One more question, what does grouping do? I made a animated Bitmap but needed a numeric display with it. I want the display to move along with the bitmap. I am moving the bitmap on the x-axis. I grouped the two objects together, but when the main bitmap moves across the screen, the display does not. I was hoping with grouping, they would somehow be tied together.

And yes there are lots of symbols. I am curious, the animated example in the software, not all the symbols they used are in the symbol library.

Grouping just allows you to copy, move, paste tiems in a group while editing. It is not a fuction of the project when running.

The other bitmaps you see are either in the User Graphic Library. If not, you can add your own graphics to use by selecting the Library Tab, then the small (to small) right arrow below the words "object list. " See the Help files. Search for "User Graphic Library ".
