I am currently using C-More Version 1.30 Build 07.21A. When I import a bitmap using the Static Bitmap tool I find that the resolution of the bitmap becomes compromised. Even if I start with a high quality image, C-More seems to import the file and shrink it down to a new smaller image of lesser quality. I can re-size/stretch the image in C-More to make it bigger again but it always comes out blurry. How can I import bitmaps and maintain their size/resolution??

Look at the specs for the C-More you are using and you'll find the resolution of the screen. If you want a bitmap to fill the whole screen with as much detail/sharpness as possible then re-size your bitmap using Photoshop to the C-More's resolution before inserting it in your project. If you want it to fill 1/4 the screen then re-size in Photoshop to 1/2 the resolution (1/4 the pixels). Basically what I'm saying is don't make the C-More re-size things for you, do it yourself in a program designed for resizing images.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
I have tried re-sizing the images already (less than 320x240 for the EA7-S6M-R, 800x600 for the EA7-T8C) using Corel Photo-Paint 8. No matter what size of bitmap I create, C-More always imports the the BMP files and reduces them to approximately 1/4 the size of the screen. Re-sizing before importing doesn't seem to make a difference.

I just took a look at one of my projects for the 12 " C-More and the only way I could get the bitmaps to appear ugly was to uncheck constrain proportions or to check the transparency check box. I assume you are constraining your proportions, but what about the transparency?

I 've tried toggling the check boxes, importing from the clipboard instead of "from disk " and even drag and drop (just in case). I get mixed results that I can't explain or reproduce logically.
Thanks for your help, but time is running out so I'll just have to draw the graphics directly in C-more.
Cheers
