I 've run into a problem when exporting a tag database from Directsoft and importing it into C-more. When using numerical data entry tools I'm unable to enter a value through the keypad and have it accepted. It lets me enter the value but it always reverts back to zero after I hit 'enter '. I exported the tag database back out of C-more and examined it in Excel. There is a field marked 'datacount ' that has all zero's in it. That doesn't seem to matter for discreet tags - they work fine. It seems that if I change the BCD tags to 1 in that field then import the database again everything works fine. Any ideas?

Which V memory location? All of them? Which PLC model is your Directsoft program?
Does this actually occur when the project is loaded on the panel and connected to the PLC or only in Simulate?
More details please...

Unfortunately the panel has shipped to the customer but I'll have another one in the near future.
It was with a DL06 on Port 2 using memory areas in the 2000 range. Only when the project is loaded in the screen and communicating.
