Is there a way or product that i can use to wirelessly connect to a freestanding c-more touch screen. The plant I work at has wired and wireless network. The idea that has been kicked around is. Hook a 8 " touchscreen to the serial port of the plc to control the machine while using the panel pass through function to communicate to a remote wireless 6 " hmi located and powered on the maint. cart. The data captured would allow us to know immediately when a machine goes down and possibly what caused it depending on the plc program.
