DL:06 interfaced with Wonderware?

I am currently looking at a low cost solution for some extra I/O by interfacing a DL06 with our existing WonderWare. I have seen that this is possible via the DS Data Driver, however I have also seen that the DS Data Driver is an old version. Has this been replaced with something newer? Will I need anything else to Communicate between the DL06 and WonderWare?

You can also use KepDirect . It is a newer OPC server than DSData and provides the same connectivity to WonderWare.

I'm new to the Automation Directs. I'm alot more familiar with Siemens TISoft. Do you know of any links that explain how to interface the DL06 with Wonderware, or is it fairly strait forward.

Wonderware does have drivers for most all of the Direct Logic PLC's. All you do is configure the Wonderware connection settings to match the DL-06 port settings and it should work.

Wonderware to DL205 Connectivity
I have a DL205 w/ DL-260CPU connected to a C-More panel. I am thinking about using Wonderware for some higher level data aquisition and reporting.
The WW folks tell me they have drivers for all the AD stuff. Can anyone tell me exactly what needs to be done to have Wonderware communicte with the AD PLC?
Is it as simple as getting anEcom card and connecting the WW and the DL260 via ethernet? Or is there other software I need. Do I have to use the RW/WX commands to get data from the PLC to WW?
Just want to create WW tags to the PLC I/O....C-More would stay working on it's own.
