since the cmore update, i have been having a real hard time connecting to teh cmore via ecom for programming. coms with the cmore and 06 don't seem to be bothered. i can still connect via usb. the strange part is that sometimes the program will see the panel is on the network, but it still will not conect to it. do i need to change a setting somewhere?

That sounds like an IP address or subnet mask address mismatch issue.
Browsing does a multi cast and will not care about the subnets. But actually transferring the project will do a unicast and your windows TCP/IP routing will not send it out if the subnets do not match.
Subnet masks should be exactly the same on your PC and the panel (not technically true but for simplification I would try it that way) and whichever octet of your subnet mask has a 255, you need to match both IPs on that octet. The last octet should be unique, of course.

Having similar issues. Laptop cannot detect Cmore 10 " panel through Ecom. Connecting Cmore directly to PC or through a switch, with same results. Doing a browse on the network returns no panels!
Tried the manual method, by finding out the IP address of the panel first then set up a manual connection using the panel's IP address; no connection detected.

You guys need to post more info if we are going to be able to help you.
Like: IP address and subnet mask of your panel. IP address and subnet mask of your PC. Going through switch, hub, direct connection. Windows firewall turned off on PC. Etc...

The issue had since resolved itself. but i was working through a hub with 255.255.255.0 submask 192.168.1.43 ip. i don't remember what the gateway was for sure, but i think it was 192.168.1.1. I'm Guesing i had a bug in my laptop becuase a few days later i was having trouble connecting to my network.
