Can anyone provide information on accessing the Cmore as a webserver from anywhere on the internet? For example, if I have my Cmore sitting on my LAN with an IP assigned by the local router, how do I make it accessible from the internet?

You would need to setup your router to do port forwarding. Basically this means that when the router gets a request from the internet for any of the ports that the C-more is setup to handle, the router will then forward the data to the D-more unit for handling. Below are the port assignments that re used by the C-more panel.

    Project Transfer: 9999

    Pass through: 11110

    Email: 25

    Web server: 80

FTP: 21 (default but user selectable)

OK. Assuming I 've done that. How would I access it from the internet? What do I put into the browser URL field to get to it?

OK, I think I figured it out. From the browser, if you type the WAN IP address of the router the cmore is accessed as long as port 80 is being forwarded to the cmore. The problem now is that the webserver won't work if using an ISP like mine that doesn't allow webservers.

Welcome to the unfortunate truth of most ISPs... they filter your internet, no one notices because they filter a part you don't use anyway (or most people don't).

A common work around is to have the router route port 8080 or 8000 on the WAN side to port 80 on the LAN side, when typing the address in your browser it would look something like this: http://65.182.78.151:8080
