The Event Manager Database allows the creation, viewing, and editing of all Alarms and Events in your project. Events, such as tag value changes, screen changes, and even the time of day, can trigger specific Actions. Actions can include changing tag values, copying tag values, playing a sound, changing the current screen, taking a screen capture, sending e-mail, or popping-up a message box. There is also an Alarm Banner that appears as you mentioned. I have recently switched from the Allen Bradley PV1000 and PanelBuilder software to the C-More touch screens and software. For the most part, it seems to be pretty straight forward stuff. The noticeably big difference to me is the lack of built in alarming functions. I would be nice if there were a built in banner that popped up on any alarm event. I would also be nice to have a designated setup screen for alarm triggers and messages only. I'm not sure how to do these things in an efficient fashion. Any suggestions or examples?
