Multiple PLCs with a C-More panel?

Does anyone have a quick walkthrough on using a C-More panel with multiple PLC's? I have a C-More that I'd like to talk to 4 DL06 PLC's via an Ethernet network, using the DL06 Ethernet cards. I think I have figured out how to get the C-More to see the PLC's, via the Node List in the panel setup, but what I really need to know is how to create tags that point to memory locations in the various PLC's. At one point I knew how to do this for EZTouch panels but I have forgotten...

To use multiple PLCs, you will create multiple "Devices " in the Panel Manager. Create one "device " for each PLC that you wish to talk to.

Label the devices however you wish. When you go to create tags, use the drop down list at the top of the window to select which "Device " that you wish to talk to.

The node list is used to browse the network for available online plcs.

I want to do the same but with RS422/485. I am planning on using one DL205 and four DL05. Networking between port 2 on a D2-260 and then through F2-UNICONs to port 2 on each of the DL05s.

I want to confirm my understanding: Is it possible for one C-More panel to access more than one PLC on an RS422/485 network? Do I then use the station number to distinguish between the different PLCs?

Please advise where one finds the Node List to browse for PLCs on line?

You can see all online ECOMs with NetEdit. And if - in your DS500.ini - the AutoSense=1 then all active Comm Links will show up green when you start DSLaunch.

hooking up more then one plc to the panel is easy. ad did a good job making it pretty easy to add devices to the cmore. where i think they could go farther is importing the tag database from more then one plc. right now, as far as i have figured, is that you can import the tag database from one plc but you will have add every other tag from the other plc's

In version 2.0.7.35, you can now select the device you wish to import tags to, in the import dialog box.
