Remote access to ez-touch

Has anyone ever connected to a remote ez-touch for programming? Either internet or dial-up?

As far as I know, dial-up cannot be done. It has been tried many times without any success.
Ethernet might be possible depending on the ping times, but it would not be dependable.
The problem arises from not being able to adjust the programming connection for baud, timeout, etc.

The only way I 've successfully done it is by connecting to and remote controlling a computer on the same local network as the EZT... VNC is good for this type of thing.

marksji I was thinking that might be the way to go. I have tried logmein and a couple of other remote access programs .Is that what you use or do you recommend something else.

I use VNC pretty much exclusivly for remote control. I 've used LapLink and PC Anywhere, but VNC is by far faster and more reliable; not to mention free.

I have used PCAnywhere and GoToMyPc, but so far I found this software to be very good.
