Some suggestions for EZTouch & the design software (Yes, I realize some of these wouldn't be easy to implement http://forum1.automationdirect.com/board/smile.gif ) 1. In the designer, remember if windows are "normal " or maximized so they don't always open maximized. 2. Allow any object to be on top of another. When an input object's visibility flag turns on, it moves to the top of the "stack ". Similar to a gaining focus in Windows. When I say "input object ", I mean any object that responds to a screen touch. 3. "Display Frame " and "Transparent " Checkboxes for Numeric Displays. 4. Radio button sets that are not word-alinged. For example, radio buttons using bits 3 to 6. 5. Multi-position rotary switches. Each press advances switch one position. Check box to go from last to first or reverse direction. Equally space stops on 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or full circle. Also, see #6 below. 6. Make position indicator on rotary switch bitmap more obvious. 7. Add delay parameter to switches. The new value would not be written to the PLC until the delay time has passed. This would allow skipping steps on switches (see #5 above). Also, accidental button presses could be "undone " before any equipment starts or stops. Jay Guengerich Utility Services Corp.
