We find the WinPLC with Think &Do a great product. One problem, when only requiring the WinPLC and no HMI etc, T &D Studio now becomes an expensive "programming tool ". How about a T &D version to program only the WinPLC? This will be more affordable for people that want to move to a new "open platform "

Think&Do strives to keep the cost of its development package as low as possible. Supporting one control package reduces overhead costs. The HMI features have always been an integral part of Think&Do's PC Control product. Many users combine PC's and WinPLCs for their control solution. The effort to divide the product just adds to overall costs. Just as removing the

WinPLC application portion from a "PC-only " product wouldn't reduce costs, neither would removing the HMI portion from the complete development package. I understand your concern and I know it has been discussed. I have passed this along to Think&Do so they are aware of your interest. Think&Do continually looks at ways to better serve their customers.
