NetEdit 3.17 e that came out w/Designer 2.7 did change from earlier versions:

    1. Removed BRX BX-EBC100 and BX-MBIO Module Configuration from within NetEdit. Instead, it brings up the Web interface on the EBC100/MBIO itself for configuration of the various I/O modules. You can still configure 205, 405, and Terminator EBC100 modules via NetEdit - this has not changed.
    2. Added support for new firmware file formats, better firmware update status

I have not had any issues using NetEdit3. What issues are you seeing?

When I open NetEdit it takes a while to open up and it used to automatically display what was connected but I have to click on Scan Network to get the list. I got a list of devices and shows 0.0.0.0 as the address, now that you tell me BRX items aren't on here that explains it. The items are all BRX. Not earthshattering but was wondering. Thanks for both replies.

BRX Ethernet-based MPUs, DMIOs, EBC100s, and MBIOs should show up in the list. You have an issue if you are not seeing them (pick the right Network Card, invalid IP Address in the unit, etc.).

My note was pointing out the fact that for BX-EBC100 and BX-MBIO Remote Base Controllers (RBCs), the I/O Module Configuration (e.g. how many channels there are, how to configure a specific channel, etc.) is no longer done within NetEdit but via the Web page for THAT RBC (after configuring its IP Address, use a web browser to browse to it and configure the I/O modules via that web interface).
