Copy a screen from one project file to another
We have 5 machines that are very similar. I made changes to one EA9 Panel screen because we upgraded the hydraulics on the line. We plan to do the same for the other four machines. Is there a way to copy a screen from one project file to another? (one machine to another) I tried having two copies of the software open with the project files and tried a copy screen / paste screen on the other but it did not work.

1) Open the project that you want to import the screen to.
2) File-->Import-->Project Data...
3) Locate the file that has the screen that you want to import, select it and open it.
4) There will be options for importing a screen and the different databases.

"In the project you want to copy screens FROM go to 'Tool' - 'Screen Library'.
Drag screens you want to copy to the area on the right, creating a folder for their storage. Then close that project.
Open the destination project. Go to 'Tool' - 'Screen Library', access the folder established above then copy screens into this project."

Thanks, this is very straightforward. I'll add that as soon as you save a screen to your screen library it is automatically available in your screen libraries in other projects.
Thank you!
Mike
