Can the node red module read input valves from another click plus plc on the same network or does it need to be done with modbus.

    It's possible, but reading valves over Modbus TCP would be the simplest method if that is all it would be doing.

    Thanks for the info. No control needed just looking to get some numbers up to Blynk's cloud.

    If you're trying to send data to Blynk then Node-Red is a good option for the job. If the job is just to send data from PLC-A to PLC-B alone on the same network, not so much.

    Yes that is the plan. Just wasn't sure if I could use a click read node to read a address in PLC-B with the node red module in PLC-A.

      Unfortunately, the Click Read and Write nodes only work with the controller that Node is running on.
