Bug or documentation error - PID->Tuning->Control - Documentations says Bool, UI only accepts INT.
I'm setting up several PID loops for the first time on a project. The documentation says that in the PID tuning tab, the control field is a binary value, but the text field only accepts integers. Is this a but in the program or the documentation? How do I report this issue either way?
I have experienced this on 2 separate computers running the current version, 4.6.2.2
Thank you for posting this here. It looks like it's an error in documentation as you're correct in observing the programming software is requiring an numeric data type. I will report this to the product team to get the documentation fixed.
