GS30 Series Compatibility with GS3 and GS4

I recently changed a GS3 to a GS4 (because its what we had on our shelf). The MODBUS addresses match those in the GS3 luckily. With a little help from AD Tech Support I got it going in no time.

Main question is ...

Do the addresses in GS30 drives match those in the GS3 and GS4 drives? This obviously would allow me to easily swap in a GS30 without excessive programming.

The older GS1, GS2, and GS3 drives share an older Modbus addressing scheme. The newer GS10, GS20(X), and GS30 drives share a newer Modbus addressing scheme. The Modbus addresses for critical functions like the command word (stop, start, etc.) and the frequency (speed) command reference are completely different between the older and newer series.

Can these GS30 series be put into a "GS2 Mode" like the GS20s can?

Are the GS4s going to be discontinued?

Basically I need to get another 50HP drive on our shelf and I would like to know if the GS4s are going away due to the arrival of the GS30s?

Unfortunately the GS30's do not have GS2 mode like the GS20's do. The great news is there are currently no plans to discontinue the GS4.
