Unable to connect C2-OPCUA intelligent module's server to UA Expert Simulation Client software.

I have the current configuration:

System ConfiguraionThese are my Slot 0 setup settings:

Slot 0 SettingsimgimageimageimageThese are my UA Expert settings:

imageThis is my PLC's Date and Time settings, which are in the range of the certificate:

imageThis is my small ladder logic program that I write to ensure the PLC is running:

imageEvery time I attempt to connect my PLC's OPC UA server with the UA Expert Client software, I get the following error "Server Node ClickPlusOPCUA Could not connect to Server: Bad Timeout.

I can successfully ping the module

I am connected to the C2-OPCUA module through a network switch and ethernet cable.

The PLC is being programmed via micro-usb.

There is 24V DC supply for the PLC.

I am on the latest firmware of the software and PLC.

Why can I not connect to the OPC UA server through the UA Expert Client software?

I can connect other simulation server software (Prosys) to UA Expert. The C2-OPCUA module is flashing the green OK LED. So, what am I doing wrong here?

Disable (uncheck) the allow list then and try connection again after reloading the project into the PLC.

According to your Security tab screenshot you did not add a user certificate. If you either disable security for testing or add a Cert you should be able to connect. Please see Help Topic CL330. Hope this helps

Tried it with the Cert and by just disabling all the security. Neither worked. I ended up switching the IP to a different subnet and I am able to ping the server but can not connect even on this subnet. No error codes or anything. It is almost as if, the server is not properly initializing. What are the chances this is a faulty module? At this point I have been on multiple calls with tech support and no one there is able to resolve this and I have messed with every known setting in the module 😅

It does not sound like a faulty module. Try to use the steps in the App Guide page 32. This is absolute minimum needed to get a C2-OPCUA setup with no extras.

When online with the CLICK software is there any PLC Error for Slot0? Also what is the status of SC301, SC302, and SC315. Also SD308. These are status bits and registers for the Slot 0 Module. If no errors are shown you could try to force update the FW for the C2-OPCUA by unchecking the Skip updating modules with the same version button. Please See CL014 and CL340 for these steps.
