Cannot download projects to P2CDS-622 unit
Hello,
We're having an issue with deploying projects to a CODESYS PLC (P2CDS-622). The error code is the following:
Unresolved reference: 'CODEMGETCONTENTBYFIRMCODE2'
We have tried multiple laptops and multiple CPUs modules and are continually running into the same issue. I've tried rebuilding the project from scratch, and the issue only seems to appear once a Visualization is added to the project.
Also noting that both the device in the project and the PLC itself are on the latest version of firmware - 1.1.13.0.
I would double check still. The software's error message is pointing out a difference between the two.
You could also do a factory reset and reload the firmware again.
Most likely due to a mismatch between the firmware and the device package in your project. Have you done any firmware updates or package updates? They both need to match or there can be unexpectd behavior.
I'll put the info below on how to check both and where to get the latest updates.

I was able to deploy successfully by starting a project from scratch and copying in all objects. But I'm not happy with that as there's no clear root cause in my system configuration.
Yeah understandable. Version 1.1.13.0 is a pretty recent release. My guess is the project that was used to download was before the release of 1.1.13.0 which used an older device package.
It seems that the Codemeter component could be missing in your Control RTE. When you do the Codesys install are you making sure the checkbox is checked for Codemeter?
The Codemeter application is indeed installed on my laptop - is double checking that its running all that's necessary?
That would be the next step in the process, yes. Make sure Codemeter is running when Codesys is running.
I've tried to replicate the issue myself and haven't been able to reproduce the issue.
