Is there a plan to allow use of a UDS with nested arrays within a UDI?
I am using a P1-622 CPU and am attempting to create a tag within a UDI using a UDS that has nested arrays (e.g. the tag would be "PLC.Row(X).Column(Y)") but I received the following error:
"Parameter creation is being undone due to the error: Cannot create structure element tag 'PLC.Row.Column' with more than 1 array dimensions"
Does the Productivity's development path include allowing this capability within a UDI?
At this time, UDS definitions support only one-dimensional arrays. Two-dimensional arrays, such as row-and-column structures, are not currently supported. There are also no plans at present to add 2D array support to UDS definitions.
