DIN rail and wire duct cutters.

I note the post about pre-cut DIN rail.

I think it would be handy if you also sold the actual cutters for DIN rail and wire duct.

For standard depth (7.5mm) 35mm DIN rail, we use THIS

For wire duct, I've ordered THIS and hope it will work.

We're still using a chop saw and a belt sander/file to clean up the burrs. Not as fast, but smaller kerf and we don't build a whole lot of panels. Last time I looked for a pro cutter, the best value still seemed steep and wasn't as versatile looking as the one you linked. That one looks like a good investment even for us. What is its kerf width?

I bought that same ATMCO last year, it works great. It punches out a 6.75mm drop. You can also do partial cuts to create hard stops on the DIN rail.

I grew tired of cutting it on a cold cut saw, as if it grabs wrong it wrecks the piece. And this way, there's no filing needed either. Band saw works okay, but this punch is the ultimate.

How do others cut aluminum DIN rail? While it cuts nicely on a wood cutting miter saw, and no deburring needed, I'd rather cut it without the noise/chips/cleanup. I was going to buy the ATMCO aluminum DIN rail dies, but the guy on the phone talked me out of it. He said product can be inconsistent from batch to batch, and it doesn't shear quite as nicely as the steel does. And steel DIN rail is cheaper, so why bother?

Also, I use the Rennsteig 502 111 3 aka Knipex 95 02 21 handheld duct cutter. It works okay, better than a saw. It's real nice for cutting duct in field for panel modifications.
