VPN connect issue solution
All, we recently had a problem where we could no longer connect remotely to two stride units at the same facility. We could see them, but the VPN would not connect.
We surmise that the Internet provider changed some security that blocked the VPN access.
It took us 1.5 hours, but we ended up putting the units in Stealth mode and the problem went away... for now.
Just wanted to share this.
I ran into a similar problem a while ago, and switching to Static Residential Proxies helped me out big time. It let me keep a consistent IP address, which cleared up the connection dropouts I kept having with my VPN and the PLC. Seemed like the random IP changes were messing with my access. Worth a shot if nothing else is working.
