On the GS4-4060, parameter P08.00 doesn't show what the manual describes. The only option I have is a couple lines to change things like text color. Is there something I am missing?

From your description, it seems you are going into the menu and then directly to option 8 (Display Setup).
To get to P08.00 you will want to go into menu and first select option 1 (Param Setup), from there, select 08 (Display), and then 00: User Display.
