Can't get a simple motion from L7PA010U-AD servo drive

I have L7PA010U-AD servo drive and APMC-FCL10AMK-AD servo motor with no load on its shaft. I followed the tutorials, replaced the drive and motor, and still can't get the jog working. Is there a plausible scenario, which causes this behavior in "Manual Jog" test with "Positive" button continuously depressed? Specifically, "Velocity Command" is at 50 for less than 200ms (CH2), despite positive direction button continuously depressed. I tried factory default and several other configurations with similar results. Sorry for the stupid dialog box in the middle of the screen.

Motor phases were miss wired: U and V were switched. Someone else was doing the wiring, and I didn't verify that it was done correctly. Thank you for your help.

Not this time, but on earlier tests it was showing AL-10, even with increased current limits and no load on the shaft.

AL-10 is a serious alarm to get. The manual has these items to check. The issue causing the problem may still be related to AL-10. The manual jog should ignore any positioning settings and work from DriveCM while connected over USB.

AL-10 alarm is raised when I restore drive to factory settings and repeat the procedure from Quick Start Guide. There is no alarm when I load the attached configuration file.

If you are getting an AL-10 alarm after a factory reset and you already swapped the motor and the drive out for new ones then the motor power and encoder cables should be replaced.

I wonder if the motor configuration is correct. Setup Wizard used Auto Setting for the motor. Are these parameters correct for APMC-FCL10AMK-AD servo motor?

Those seem to be ok. What DriveCM version are you using and what firmware is the drive?

      • pauljurczak (Customer)

Drive CM v1.00.2, L7P010 firmware 2.17. Will try the one you've sent me.

Have a look at the I/O status and see what is active it could be one of those signals stopping JOG from happening.

I disconnected all IOs. I see INPOS2 in red on the screenshot. Could it be the reason for stopping?
