The Productivity family of controllers now has a CPU that combines time-tested Productivity2000 hardware with a CODESYS processor. The ProductivityCODESYS P2CDS-622 CPU uses the same reliable hardware as the Productivity2000 PLC but with the powerful CODESYS engine.

The CODESYS IDE provides a wealth of functionality and includes all IEC 61131-3 languages. It also includes WebVisu, used to configure a web-based display for remote access and monitoring. Any hardware platform capable of supporting the CODESYS runtime application can be used with this powerful software, and this now includes the Productivity2000 series from AutomationDirect!

The P2CDS-622 is programmed using the CODESYS IDE, which is free to download. Follow the steps outlined in the Getting Started topic or visit https://docs.codesys-p2cds622.com/en/latest/Getting%20Started/preparation.html to set up the CODESYS IDE to work with the P2CDS-622. Out of the box, the P2CDS-622 comes with several CODESYS add-ons free of charge. These include Modbus RTU & TCP and EtherNet/IP Scanner & Adapter fieldbuses, WebVisu visualization, and the IIoT library, which includes MQTT, Web Client, and email support, among others. 

The P2CDS-622 is compatible with all Productivity2000 power supplies and bases and most I/O modules.
