A Fresh Engineer (Customer) asked a question.
Hello. I got my HMI and was playing around with it. I first turned the HMI on by using a PSC-24-060 power supply and did the calibration and stuff. Then I tried to use the mini usbA to B cord that came with the EA-MG-PGM-CBL converter. I launched c-more programming software and clicked on send project and nothing was showing up on my screen for the usb port, just a red dot.
I then thought, ok i need a specific cord for this hmi to program, so I bought the USB-CBL-AB6.
It just came in today and I tested all my devices first that are plugged into the click plc. Once I tested them all and made sure they worked I plugged in the HMI and turned on the click and my external power supply. Sure enough everything worked the same as before and the HMI turned on. I then tried to connect the new cable I got from my pc to the HMI and sure enough nothing is displaying in c-mores software.
What should I do? is it broken or am I doing something wrong?
