Todd Dice (Customer) asked a question.
My employer purchased a new Windows 11 computer for the guy who does the downloading to Clicks and C-more micros for our standard product. Unfortunately, he got the error message in the device manager regarding the EA-MG-PGM-CBL (photo below module and rev). I read THIS POST and it appears our device is January 2019 R2.0 and it should NOT WORK in Windows 11. Out of desperation as our product is in high demand, I downloaded the ALL-IN-ONE driver, ran it, restarted the computer and got it to work. I'd purchase a new cable but web store lists 7/29 as soonest one can ship. Now, normally I can trust the estimate, but I've had a BRX on order since February, was estimated to ship June, and is now pushed to September.
My question is, Is this just my dumb luck, or did I find an anomaly to the rule?

Products like this use a chipset from another company and it just comes packaged in a nice enclosure and a brand slapped on it. So it doesn't matter at all what the company that sells it says about compatibility, it only matters if the chipset has a driver for a certain OS.
That product appears to use a Prolific PL2303 chipset, which does support Windows 11.https://www.prolific.com.tw/US/ShowProduct.aspx?p_id=225&pcid=41
