PROTOS X Field I/O Forcing tags w/ productivity 2000 PLC

I went to force tags today on a protos X module Analog input and I was unable to force a value. The force would take, but the module was obviously still sending data nd the plc was using the sent data. Called tech support, and there was not an explanation. If I used a non field I/O like an analog value on the plc the force worked fine. Has this been anyone else's experience? Can anyone else verify that a protos operates like this. I would have rather liked to force values to help prove out this program.

Are you talking to a Modbus or EtherNet/IP coupler?

If using Modbus coupler. Did you auto discover the Protos X modules or are you talking directly using MRX/MWX instruction's?

I am using the auto discover with ethernet/ip protos PXTCP1 I use the remote IO network/port on the productivity.

Thanks for the update, sorry for taking a while to reply, I got the logic working without forcing these, but it just took a bit more time to proof out. Glad to know it can be fixed.
