So I 've got a STP-MTRD-23065RE stepper motor with integrated driver, I am controlling it by writing commands to the SCL terminal in SureMotion Pro software and sending them through the STP-USB485-4W usb to rs-485 adapter. Instead I would like to control the speed and direction from one axis of a generic usb joystick that is also plugged in to the host computer. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a program that already exists to take the input from the usb joystick and send serial commands to control the motor? Or is there an easier way to go about this?
