    owenaero,

Try www.MotionOnline.com. They have a Handbook of Servo Systems with information on theory, operation, system dynamics, sizing, etc. You can review the Sanyo Denki Servo Systems, motors and drives. Information on Sanyo Denki, and their subsidiary company Automation Intelligence, can be found in the Automation Direct Catalog and on line. Hope this helps.
