Import a variable?

I am using a DL06-DR to control a 250kw induction wind generator. I would like to send a wattage signal from a web server electric metering device into the PLC. My meter has modbus protocol. 1. Can the PLC accept a variable input? 2. Where can I find the import documentation? thanks Mike

    Refer to the DL-06 manual available from AutomationDirect for free. It has information on the use of Modbus communication.
