Good afternoon. I want to incorporate pid controls to a machine that's currently equipped with a dl240. I have an extra 250 cpu card, and here's the problem i have. The analog card that im using is the f2-04rtd I have the same exact program on both cpu cards, but I'm getting a temperature value of 0 when the 250 card installed. The temperature reads correctly when the original 240 card is installed. I played around with the run / terminal / stop switches, with no luck. A few outputs on the output card are turned on. I read the analog card manual, and i didn't see any selectable settings based on cpu model. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

The operation of the card, when using the 'pointer ' access method depends on values in two memory locations (see page 6-11, 6-12 of the RTD manual). Is it possible that, with the DL240, you placed these values into the V memory locations by hand instead of a program setup? The settings may not have transferred over to the 250 if you did.
