H2-DM1E setup Modbus/TCP Server for SICK INSPECTOR Vision Sensor

I am having trouble trying to get a H2_DM1E to my sick inspector I40 has anyone got one communicating Port no is correct as per http://www.chronos-vision.de/downloads/FAQ_Summary_Inspector_V1.05.pdf in the sopas software to setup inspector I get this error; The I/O extension box could not be found on the specified address. The box must be reachable on the specified address for inputs to be read and/or outputs to be set. It will still be possible to configure the Inspector to use the I/O extension box.

    The manual claims that it is using UDP, not TCP. Although I think Modbus over UDP is used by a few devices out there, it is not common. Do-more currently only supports Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP.
