I took a class based on the Allen Bradley SLC-500 that focused on programming with very little connection to inputs and outputs. I believe that a difference between SLC-500 and CLICK PLC architecture is: SLC-500: Analog, digital, and relay input and output modules can be connected to the same PLC. CLICK PLC: You would have to use 3 separate PLCs networked together if you wanted to integrate analog, digital, and relay inputs and outputs. Modules need not necessarily be purchased. Are my statements correct? Thanks

If I understand you correctly...
The various click modules are modular, and connect to the main CPU. So in order to get Analog, Digital and Relay I/O....it would simply only matter what modules you choose for the total click configuration.
See the following Click configurator:

Wow, that thing is pretty neat. I haven't used any Click stuff yet, but I see they have a configurator like that for the 05 and 06. :)
Now If we had one of those configurators for the 205 series... could save time in figuring power budget stuff...
Anyone at AD listening??;)

and of course this one will round out the list of configurators.

We don't want the PAC to feel left out either.

Jeremy, did I miss something?
You make it sound like they have configurators for all.
I couldn't find one for the 205 series. Is there one, and if so, where is it?
Thanks,
