Intrigued by the latest firmware revision notice I looked again at this method of moving from one stage to another. If you have S0 and S1 (as in the manual example for the DL06) what key strokes are necessary in DirectSOFT to enter the X0 triggered powerflow transition? I can't seem to get it. (I have never used this and it does look confusing)

An email was recently received noting that problem with the Power Flow Transition wer being corrected (which triggeren my curiosity.)
In the DL06 user manual, page 7-18, the Power Flow Transition method of transferring from one Stage to another is shown as an alternative to the JMP command.
I have been trying to enter a Power Flow Transition (as shown on the right side of the page) using DirectSOFT. I can't figure out how to do that.
This may be academic since I use the standard JMP command all the time for this process but I'm wondering exactly how the Power Flow Transition is actually entered. I can't seem to get it to work.

With out looking up the example, I can tell you that I have, with success, used an immediate contact to rst the current stage and set the next stage. Jmp works better for this purpose, but using just the rst at the end of process is great.

I see it now under Edit - Wire though I haven't used Enter to get a rung above the current one, I always use 'Insert '. That's incredibly non-intuitive. I'm glad I don't use it but I was intrigued. Thank you.

bCarlton since you brought it up, have you ever used the wire to wire and wire to output. I never did get that stuff to work.

I typically create a new rung using the insert key. The new rung already has a NOP so I just replace that. I occasionally use the CTRL-W to get to an output column and that works.
But I do not use the transition method discussed in this thread.
