Hello All, This may not be the best forum to post, but I have to start. BTW, I did leave a tech support request at Host Engineering but have not got a reply yet. (I only posted yesterday afternoon). I am hoping for a quick answer if I can get it here this week end. Problem: Had to re-install XP PRO service pack 3 on my laptop. When I went to install DirectSoft software it came back with an error that indicated a FLEXnet connect. It indicated the product was not registered. I did enter in the correct serial/license value when prompted. I saw that after the re-install of the OS that there were still a folder for Automationdirect. I am thinking that I should remove the application first? I guess I can try that anyhow, any suggestions/comments welcome.

Obviously don't just delete it use the uninstall function if something was removed from the folder without using the uninstall you will not be able to uninstall it, hopefully you didn't lose anything which is why you always back up before updating service packs and the likes, learned that the hard way myself, uninstalling the program and then re download it and run the .exe setup i would think that should fix anything, did everything work for you?
