Hello everyone, I am a newbie when it comes to putting together electrical components, so I need a little help. This is for a school project and I need to connect a DL05 plc to a rhino power supply. I have been looking at the models available for both the DL05's and the rhino power supplies, and I think that I might have found a good setup but I am not completely sure. The DL05 D0-05DD-D and a Rhino PSP24-024S. The issue I have with it is that according to the specifications, the DL05 voltage range is supposed to be bentween 12-24 VDC 20W max. The Rhino power supply is 24 VDC (adjustable), 1A (24W). The power supply is rated at 24W but the DL05 works at 20W max. So is this an issue?

Not an issue. The 24 watts is what the power supply is capable of delivering. The 20 watts of the D0-05 is what it CAN draw in amperage. You have made a good choice.
By the way: there is a version of the D0-05 that can be connected directly to 120vac, saving you the cost of the power supply.

One thing to note is that the 20W is for the DL05 only. It does not take into account any loads that you might connect to the outputs. If you are going to attach any other external devices you will need to increase the wattage of the power supply or change to a 120VAC powered unit.
