Huge doc files - even in version 4!

I 've recently upgraded my DirectSoft to version 4, and was dismayed to find that the runaway documentation (ESD) file size problem still exists. Has there been any progress in nailing down this bug?

I HATE that!
To fix your files, export the documentation to a .CSV file, shut down DirectSoft, then delete both your .ESD and .ESX file of that one project, re-open the project, then import your .CSV file.
IF YOU CAN DUPLICATE IT - PLEASE SEND US YOUR "BEFORE " PROJECT FILES, ALONG WITH THE STEPS TO DUPLICATE IT TO SUPPORT@HOSTENG.COM.
We did "fix " one place where it was showing up. Uggh! Software development at its best http://forum1.automationdirect.com/board/rolleyes.gif

AHA!
I wasn't deleting the .esx file - just the .esd! When I deleted both, and imported the docs, everthing loaded fine (and small file sizes). Thanks!
- Now, on another note: I attempted to export my program to a text file ( "Monic ") and DirectSoft seems to have gone beserk - my whole PC locked up and I was unable to do anything. This also happened on another engineers PC next door to me (he's running on XP, I'm on Win2000). Does the export->program feature work?
