Hello, I am trying to configure my Automation Direct EA7-26C-R touchscreen for communication with an Epsilon drive over Modbus RTU. I am unsure as to what the settings should be on the touchscreen side. There are many more to choose from than what the drive vendor gives for setup. I know I need the following: Baud:19200 Stop Bit:2 Parity:none Data: 8 Word Swap: MSW-LSW But the other parameters like byte order, char order, regs per message, poll time, and timeout time I can't find much info on. Anyone have any experience using this protocol on a drive like this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!

I would say, lacking more specific information from someone with this specific experience, set up the ones you have information on and leave the others at default. After connecting check for the reasonableness of data. This may point to the need for changing the other parameters.

I think I got it. I tried a different PLC setup and that seemed to work. Thanks for the help.
