Anyone out there using KEP Direct as an OPC server? I 've got it working as a DDE server with Excel and with a Windows test app I have written. I think it's working OK with OPC as I can access the plc through the OPC Quick Client program provided. However, all the documentation I 've found so far has been program user information - how to install, what the menus and buttons do, etc - and not how to access the data it interfaces from another program, which of course is the whole point. It would really help if someone can point out where to find this info, and/or provide sample interface code.

Thanks, and appologies. I also found that there's a bunch of good stuff installed on my machine as part of the KEP Direct installation. http://forum1.automationdirect.com/board/smile.gif
I had been using the desktop icon to run KEP. When I used the Windows 'start ' menu I found a lot of stuff that I didn't know was there... http://forum1.automationdirect.com/board/redface.gif
