I am trying to hook up a WET11 to a HO-ECOM connected to a DL06 and communicate to it via a pc. The problem I am having is that directsoft32 will not recognize it. If I hook the DL06 to a wired network everything is fine, it works even if I hook the pc to the WET11 wireless bridge. So the configuration must be right. The HO-ECOM shows up fine on NetEdit3 and I can change values. NetEdit3 show that there is a DL06 hooked up to the HO-ECOM. But Directsoft32 will not allow it as a contact point. It will show up under EthernetModule Setup and even let me change the settings there also but it don't see it in configure link in auto nor in any other setting there. I can really use some help, Thanks.

Are you trying to connect to the PLC via UDP or IPX? We use UDP and Winsock and the WET works fine. It is not supposed to care at all what it is hooked to. One thing to check is timeouts and retries. The WET11 is not a high power unit and with the rubber duck antenna you have be having a marginal signal problem. When you are hooked up to the unit with the PC can you see other PLC's on the network?

I found out what the problem was. For some reason the wireless bridge would not broadcast out right. By forcing the bridge to mimic the ho-Ecom's mac address it started working fine.
