SOLO 4896 controller, using it as an autoclave temperature control. When I power it up, I am using the ramping features, and have four different programs I use. There doesen't seem to be any easy way to swap to a different program without hooking up a computer though the RS485 each time, or at least the manual is a bit vague about this. I like being able to program it through the RS485 on a computer, but would then like to not have to do this each time. Very nice control I have to add.

Another random question, the SOLO software has a logging feature but I can't get it to save the file. It shows it saving it as a TXT file, but when you go to look for it in the folder you saved it to, there's nothing saved there.

The 7th chapter of the manual is about Modbus Communication and the manual also has a whole appendix on "Modbus Address Map for Ramp/Soak Control ". You could access those addresses directly through a PLC or a C-More and have them automatically change patterns on certain events.
Can't help you too much with the logging problem. I would suggest you tried saving the TXT directly on C:\. If that works you probably have a path problem (illegal characters in path or saving in the wrong directory).
